In early March 2025, a major operator on the Norwegian Continental Shelf faced a pressing issue: a vulnerable 2″ 900# flange pair gasket required urgent intervention. The leak had both operational and HSE implications, and there was no time to lose. 

Our solution: 100% tailor-engineered emergency clamp 

IK Topside mobilized rapidly with a fully bespoke solution. Our engineering team designed a clamp specifically to seal the flange pair and prevent any further leakage. The clamp was fabricated, delivered, and installed directly onto the live system by the end of March. 

Outcome: Sealed and delivered – one happy customer 

The clamp worked exactly as intended, and operations resumed without issue. Based on our dialogue and successful execution, we are confident the customer is satisfied.
